Mattia  Anderle

I am an Italian designer working at the intersection of biodesign, computational design, and digital fabrication. My practice investigates sustainability-driven and nature-inspired systems through parametric design, experimental biomaterials, and advanced 3D printing processes.

My current research focuses on parametric 3D printing and direct G-code manipulation as tools to explore material behavior, process-driven form generation, and adaptive design systems. Drawing from biomimicry, I develop computational workflows that translate natural principles into performative structures and material experiments.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Product and Visual Design from IUAV University of Venice and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Design from Aalto University in Helsinki.
